PhiBrows is a method of semi-permanent eyebrow drawing. It is developed to conform to the “Phi” ratio (1.618) also known as “ the Golden ratio”, and helps in mapping out facial contour by designing the shape that compliments all facial features.

Unlike permanent makeup brow treatment, PhiBrows technique involves drawing individual, hair strokes that are more natural looking. PhiBrows is several times thinner than the needles used for tattoos. Compared to hairstroke technique performed with PMU machine, PhiBrows strokes heal a lot thinner and crisper and do not blur.

Phibrows Artist’s produce superior work because they follow a very specific method that is taught to them through a live, hands on workshop, followed by a rigorous 6-month training course. This course requires the Artist to pass 12 levels in Craft Master app to ensure that their methods and their work maintain a very high standard.

The application contains lectures with hours of video material and pictures that help students learn everything they need to know about the microblading technique.

Craft Master is an online Android and IOS application. It is a brand new concept of teaching the technique using classroom system in a specially designed learning application.

Course contains lectures which will help you to learn everything about PhiBrows Art.

Every lecture has sublectures in order to get more information about PhiBrows.

Lectures included in the PhiBrows course are described in such way that student get all relevant information for the future.

Craft Master app is supported by the Academy’s official technician, chemist, lawyer and doctor for all the questions that the students may have.

Some of lectures include:

Symmetry is achieved through PhiBrows application and it is calculated while the clients’ eyes are closed, because in that way, mimetic muscles that can affect eyebrows’ symmetry are relaxed.

By using the Phi ratio and Phi divider, the shape of the eyebrows is defined, while considering face morphology.

Treatment is performed with disposable sterile tools (PhiBrush), and pigments are produced in accordance with the highest standards (PhiBrows microblading pigments).

Products have been continually tested and reevaluated to produce the highest quality pigments available. These pigments provide colour that stays and does not turn different colours. They are certified for not containing any heavy metals found in other permanent makeup pigments. They are also certified vegan and cruelty free.

Pigments- SUPE formula is the fifth generation of PhiBrows pigments. This means that the original synthetic microblading formula has been improved 4 times in the last two years.

Besides health safety that is the most important characteristic of a tattoo or PMU pigment, second most important characteristic is pigment stability.

Previous formula (SUP) was characterized by two most stabile pigments – Black (synthetic) and Red (iron oxide). However, yellow was problematic with both kinds due to its weak stability. Its absence resulted in eyebrows that did not fade in a brown shade after a year. That was a general problem, not only with PhiBrows pigments, but with all the other pigments on the market.

Eyebrows Anatomy – By using the Phi ratio and Phi divider, the shape of the eyebrows is defined, while considering face morphology.

A two-day workshop

Being a manual skill, microblading requires a certain amount of time spent practicing. This amount of time is not counted in days. It’s counted in months.

The initial two-day microblading course represents an introduction to the technique where the students become familiar with practice and basic problems of the technique and skin.

After this two-day microblading course, the students stay in daily contact with the Academy via the Craft Master application where they upload their works and pass levels. Only when they pass all eleven levels they obtain their certificates. Average time needed for obtaining the Certificate is between 3 and 4 months. The students spend about 150 hours practicing during this time.

Theoretical part of the PhiBrows course:

Knowing when we the treatment must not be performed is equally important as knowing how to draw the eyebrows. The theoretical part focuses on skin problems, post-treatment care, pigments, shape, symmetry, etc.

The practical part comes down to practice on skin simulation on the first day and practice on live models on the second day. Practicing on live models represents filling in the strokes drawn by a master, so that there is no possibility for the students to make mistakes since they are working on the existing marks. The aim of this practice is to show the students how it feels to work on real skin and to eliminate fear in this way.

Another aim of this practice is to get the feeling for the right pressure to a certain extent.

Certified students get inscribed in the PhiBrows WebMap, PhiBrows Certificate and logo.
