Always be watchful for the opportunity to shelter little children with the umbrella of your charity. Be generous to their schools, their hospitals and their places of worship. For as they must bear the burdens of our mistakes, in their innocence, they are the repositories of our hopes for the upward progress of humanity.
The world calls for and expects from us the simplicity of life, the spirit of prayer, charity towards all, especially towards the lowly and the poor, obedience and humility, detachment, and self-sacrifice.
Without this mark of holiness, our word will have difficulty in touching the heart of a modern man.
